The Mission Fund is a 501c3 organization designed to provide support for the mission developments & new communities of faith in the North Carolina Synod.

What does the Mission Fund do?

The Mission Fund of the NC Synod is the employer and administrative support for all the mission developments/new communities of faith in our synod. In addition to support for the developers, we work to create sustainable mission communities that change lives for the sake of the gospel.

  • Faithful and proper financial, personnel, and administrative management for all mission developments.
  • Connect mission developments to willing partners so that more lives might be changed by these communities.
  • Celebrate the mission developments through story.

The values of the Mission Fund are: Equity, Sustainability, and Innovation.

The Mission Fund is overseen by a Board of Directors appointed by the North Carolina Synod Council. In 2022, the Mission Fund hired Pastor Joanna Stallings to serve as the Executive Director. Additionally, the Mission Fund is supported by the work of the Pastor Danielle DeNise, Director for Evangelical Mission for the North Carolina Synod.
